Did you read my first post, I have and use a Palm Treo 755p. I also run Ubuntu on my desktop machine, and dual boot OS X and Baktrack on my MBP.

Now, with the plethora of 3rd party apps that are being born for the iphone, I’m sure many of it’s “lack of features” will be diminished. I mean after all, how long has Garnet had to load up on it’s 3rd party apps which often crash palm’s devices?

Thirdly, Google Android will murder Palm, unless they step up their game with the late Nova.

It’s funny to see all the Apple fanboys going on as if the iphone brought something unheard of to the realm. LOL

  6. jamestoronto on January 3rd, 2008

Honestly, what is so great about iPhone? Can you name how many features you can do with an iphone that you cannot do with Windows Mobile or Palm OS? Perhaps you have never used a REAL: smartphone and the iPhone is your very first forray into this realm, which explains your ignorance…the exact consumer that Apple has targeted. Fanboy.

Organization? HAHAHA…they can do EVERYthing the iPhone can and MUCH MORE. The friggin iPhone can’t even send and receive MMS messages. LOL

like what? Sure, our beloved Palm devices are great for organization… what else can they do well?

and windows mobile is a joke.

Palm OS is great, but stagnant.

  8. jamestoronto on January 7th, 2008

Except feature for feature the Treo beats iphone hands down…heck even a Palm OS Treo can do far more than an iphone.

  9. jamestoronto on January 8th, 2008

U idiot…touchscreen? What did the Treos 700 and 750 have? Those are Windows Mobile touchscreen phones…idiot. Touchscreen has been around for ages…no big deal.

look at it optimistically…maybe palm is coming up with an improved OS for their handhelds and phones…if not, maybe they’ll step down in the software business and let the *cough Devil cough* bill gates have palms all run on windows now…

The Treo Pro has a full-sized QWERTY keyboard similar to Centro but slightly larger. It’s nice.

You know that WinMo touchscreen phones exist for years. The iPhone was far from revolutionary with that feature (not talking about the whole thing)!

  16. RakienRoffo on January 17th, 2008

Interesting… but Windows Mobile is lame and they’re took their time to finally add a touch screen, which people have been asking for, for years. Meh, not very revolutionary, I’ma look into the Blackberry Bold.

  17. bikemowenX21 on January 19th, 2008

why did they get rid of the really good treo keyboard?? i have the centro and the keyboard is good i type fast but i would rather have the nice spacious keyboard…..

  18. patio87 on January 21st, 2008

lol, I would think that would be a bad choice of words right now.

  19. mynameisnicholas on January 22nd, 2008

come on i use a palm treo but
iconic vision of where palm is going?

its the same size as the iphone
and the box is an apple-style package, sort of like the flip mimo

apple seems to set the trends in technology, and other people have to follow

  20. Associatedfan on January 22nd, 2008

how about actually showing us the features, not just talking yourself up

  21. peterekeenan on January 25th, 2008

I don’t know fellas, CNET sort of passed and being a Verizon customer I’m guessing they may not get on board either. What’s going on with the Palm OS? Windows? Yikes! I smell some marketing mumbo-jumbo.

  22. hahafunnyman on January 28th, 2008

“tsunaaami” and “organic” in the same sentence….hahaha…they make it sound like this shit is revolutionary…”you can open word, excel and images”….pathetic! (treo 755p owner..haha)

  23. gooodlookin on January 30th, 2008

what is this? there’s like 30seconds of treo pro video?!

    …lame.
