Motorola Renew – Looking Out for the Pandas

Motorola has developed a completely environmentally friendly phone. Why? Well, because we all need to do our part to make our world a better place, and they love pandas. The Motorola Renew is made of plastic comprised of recycled plastic bottles, and is 100% recyclable. Motorola even includes a pre-paid envelope to use to recycle your old cell phone. It can be any brand of phone or accessory, and is completely free. Plus, the Renew has no carbon footprint. No, they are not made by magic, even though that would be cool. Through an alliance with Carbonfund.org, Motorola offsets the carbon dioxide required to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone through investments in renewable energy sources and reforestation. One of the reforestation projects takes place in China, and we all know who is excited about that. (Pandas!!!) Motorola reduced its packaging by 22%, and is using only 100% post-consumer recycled paper products for the box and all materials inside. All I can say is Wow!!! I think what Motorola is doing is wonderful. They are not only re-using material, but they are donating to a cause that works to create clean energy and save our forests. Two Thumbs Up!!! For all the tech specs on the Renew, check out their site.
