LG Etna with Android shows up, Vodafone might release it soon
It looks like LG has quietly showcased its very first Android smartphone at IFA 2009 in Berlin last week.
The smartphone we’re talking about is called LG Etna – weird, because I knew that ‘Etna’ was a codename for AT&T’s LG Neon GT365.
Anyway, Chip.de has a live photo of the Android-based LG Etna.
The handset has a 3 inch touchscreen display, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and it looks pretty nice, as you can see for yourself in the image below:
The phone’s other known features include Bluetooth, USB, and a 5MP camera. The Etna appeared at Vodafone’s IFA boot, which probably means that the giant carrier will soon release the Android handset across Europe.
