iPhone Love For Verizon???
Could there be a Verizon iPhone? Well, there are rumors that it is definitely a possibility. AT&T’s contract with Apple expires in the middle of 2010. Plus, the word in the manufacturing world is that Apple is putting in orders for UMTS/CDMA chips. These chips would be capable of working on both Verizon’s & AT&T’s network. Honestly, I think this makes sense for both sides. Verizon has a huge number of customers, most of whom would love to have an iPhone (me included). Verizon will hold onto all of those wandering eyes that yearn for an iPhone.
The other rumor is that the phone would have a smaller 2.8″ touchscreen. I hope that rumor is false. If Verizon is getting the iPhone, I want it in all of its iPhone goodness. No skimping on the screen. I can’t wait to see what develops on this front.
