Hotmail updates POP3 access for all; too late for me
Argh, why couldn’t they have come up with this stupid update six months ago?! I left my hotmail account behind after being insanely annoyed by the fact that I couldn’t access my e-mail outside of a desktop. It took me forever to forward all of my account mail to my new gmail account.
Despite my eight years of hotmail usage I wasn’t deemed worthy to do things like forward my e-mail to other accounts outside of the MSN domain (some were lucky enough — as long as they had owned accounts for “long enough”), and the Hotmail Plus accounts (pay for privilege) were all but impossible to sign up for.
Oh well, for those of you still on Hotmail, this should make you happy. I’m just going to go pout in the corner. Hmmph!
