These days Spice is making news for its handsets with dual sim. While spice has three such models, D-80, D-88, D-90, Spice D-88 has hit the market as India’s first phone with dual sim.D-80 and D-90 support only GSM network. On the other hand D-88 supports both GSM and CDMA networks. Spice D-90 is a smart phone with multimedia advantage. This is probably Spice’s most awaited model.

You must not know about Spice X-1, but this one comes with Yamaha Amplified 3-D surround sound and graphics, FM with record and play features, 2 GB expandable memory card slot, an opera mini web browser and a 2 mega pixel camera. It’s good loot for music freaks.

The future seems to be bright for Spice rushing its innovations. One of its upcoming models (D- 1111) would be India’s first Dual GSM & CDMA PDA. Along with its business applications the phone features a 2mp camera and 60 MB internal memory. Its first model featuring 3G network, Spice S-950, is also in the row.

The rule says it’s not only about being the first but also being the best at the same time. Looking at some of the disasters the company has done to its previous phones, we have to wait and see status of its new phones as the competition lands.
